Default Armor Preview and a couple other ideas

Greetings,

I was looking to purchase some new armor, however the detail is small on the armor window and I would propose a display, similar to the dye screen we have now, to see what the armor will look like on your character.

I was thinking that one way to acomplish this is to have a NPC which will bring you to a screen, similar to the character creation, which you can mix and match the different armors and also have the ability to dye them.

At this point you would know if that was the look that you were going for.

Other Idea

I like to take screen shots and make wall papers out of them.

I like to try to get certian emotes in the screen shot, however that is a little tricky as the emote lasts for a second or so.

What I would propose is to have a command /pose, and what that would do is to pause the next emote, ex. /kneel, for 30 secs. This will allow time to get a screen shot of you kneeling.

I've also wanted to get some action shots, but it seems like I am either in a fight where if I tried to set up a shot I end up getting killed before I get the shot, or I kill something really easy before I get a shot.

Which brings me to my other suggestion, having attack poses, again you would be in that pose for 30 seconds.

I do realize that not everyone is into screen shots, but there are some nice scenery in the game and when I find some, I like to take a shot as a "I was here", like you would do IRL.

/signed at armor previews, in the same fashion as dye previews.

however, are you aware that websites such as guildwiki.net actually have screen shots of all the armors you can craft?

I tend to look them up on there before buying.

I was aware that they do have screens of all the armor.

I was more interested in a feature as if you want to mix and match.

I want to see how Druid boots, with leather leggings, a fur chest armor and scale gloves look before I spend the 1500 per piece and say, this looks bad, and have to buy a new piece.

Fair enough. I see your point. I expect it will be added at some point the next time they do a huge update. Its one of the next logical things.
